Kate the Great is officially dead. Thanks for everyone who followed along today. It was really fun! See you in 2012!
5:20-
All is busy here. Everyone is wondering when it will run out. Could be minutes, could be an hour. I think it’s too close to call.

Line update, still in front of gift shop. It’s freezing!

This live blog has been viewed about 500 times. Thanks for passing the link along!
4:00-

3:45-
Be sure to tip your servers well today!

3:30-
Welp, it’s 3:30. I hear there are about 2 kegs left and the wait in line is about 35 minutes according to the guys that just sat next to me. Leave work now.
3:00-
Photos of Kate keep rolling in. Thanks for posting them!
2:30-
Downstairs is still going strong. I see people that I saw upstairs that are now downstairs. Magic?

2:10-
Ground zero for all the #kateday2011 tweets

1:50-
Looking like a nerd. Every press but me has packed up and left! Only laptop at the huge table with 10 beer lovers. Another Kate please!
1:15-
There are 2 1/3 barrels left! Started out with 5. Get down here!
1:00-
Doreen (@BeerZenGirl) gets an award for keeping track of her time in line!
1:00-
Seen a lot of people I know so far. Glad a lot of you could make it. Aubrey (@starshaped), Doreen (@beerzengirl), Derek (@seacoastbarscne), Norm (@RealBeerNut), Sam (@thevandaley), Sean (@2beerGuys), and especially the guy who I brought coffee to last year at 5:30am, again the first guy in line, well done!
12:30-
Finally got downstairs. Hot and packed!

12:15-
The general consensus (from 4 people I talked to out of the 240 in this bar) is the scratch ticket idea was a not so good idea. We will see if they bring back the tickets or if they try something new next year. Until then, enjoy the daft or offer up a good trade to those with a winning ticket(s).
12:00-
Time to mingle and get some reactions from the crazy people who waited hours
11:45-
I got mine!

11:00-
The doors have opened! Kate pours at 11:30!

10:45-
Someone spotted someone dressed as Kate!
10:30-
Line has passed the garage

10:20-
Marching orders being given to the staff. Cool to watch it on Ustream. Weather seems to be clearing up as the line gets longer.

9:45-
152 people in line now! Right up to the garage.

9:30-
Pretzel rolls being passed out by Chef Todd!

9:00-
Jason Margolis from PRI’s “The World“ is here interviewing Tod and Tyler. I have set up shop along side him to keep the coverage rolling!
8:10-
Just explained Kate Day to someone who has never heard of it. I have a feeling it won’t be the only “what’s the big deal?” I hear today.
7:45-
Line just started wrapping around Ladd St.

6:30- First 4 people of line of 20. First 2 got here at midnight and the second 2 arrived around 5:30

Brian, I can’t get away from work until after 4pm, so see you then!
You’re drinking for two today, Bisgby–or four, I guess, since Ryan, Hooten and I are all absent. Clearly, we are not winning. I hope you take a brief moment to cry over our exploded bodies while enjoying your Kate.
