Smuttynose Breaks Ground at Future Brewery Location

Thursday August 16 will go in the books as the day Smuttynose announced to the public that it has all the funds needed to break ground at their new brewery location. Towle Farm (on Towle Farm Rd) in Hampton, NH has been known as the site for years, and for the past year things finally started to get under way in terms of constitution. When they announced on Facebook that they were fully funded, they invited Press/Politicians/Friends to celebrate and get a first glimpse at the plans.

Joining Peter Egelston were Senators Jeanne Shaheen (US Senator for NH) and Nancy Stiles (NH Senator) who read the proclamation and expressed their excitement for the new location. “Fall 2013” were the words uttered multiple times throughout the crowd, which would be fantastic but there will definitely be a lot of hard work ahead for the brewing team and construction team.

Accompanying the new brewery will be a brewpub which will add to the already great array of restaurants in the Hampton area. Keep an eye on Smuttynose’s Facebook page for up to date information.

Cheers,
B
