I have come to realize that New Hampshire is a place to come by Liquor, not beer. I have had put many miles on the car to go to the awesome stores of Massachusetts; Andover Liquors (Andover), Kappys (Peabody), Craft Beer Cellar (Belmont), Spirit Haus (Amherst), Table and Vine (West Springfield). As a stout lover, other stout lovers kept asking me if I have tried the Breakfast Stout and much to their surprise I hadn’t. I tracked some down when I was back home and didn’t waste any time in buying it and drinking it.

Breakfast StoutPours pitch black with dark brown head and smells of dark malt, rich chocolate, coffee molasses and maybe some licorice. Boyyy howdy does this have an awesome coffee flavor, more so than the chocolate. I think it’s the perfect combination of flavors for a beer like this. Along with that combo is some nice dark malts and surprisingly light on the booziness which I enjoyed very much. This was smoother than I thought it would be and had moderate carbonation with a sweet syrupy finish.

This is a first for the new ratings sytem. I am giving this the Top Brew review! This is angel tears in a bottle and I can only imagine what it tastes like on tap. Any stout lover should get this. beer if you haven’t tried it already.
